If you’re nervous about booking, or you’re on the calendar but you’re getting a bit anxious, let me tell you, you're not alone! Every one of my clients gets a little nervous before their session. Anything new and unfamiliar naturally gives us all a few butterflies, but trust me - it will be WORTH IT! When you book your session with the Columbus Ohio Boudoir photography studio, I will hold your hand every step of the way and make sure you're prepared so that any nerves you might have will quickly go away!

Here are 5 tips on how to calm your nerves before your 614 Boudoir session:

1. REVIEW YOUR STYLE AND PREP GUIDE When you book your session, you'll receive the Style Guide that has everything you need to know on what to wear, what to bring, and what to leave at home. Then a week before your shoot, I will send you a guide on what to do, what not to do, how to prep your skin, and more! This is THE essential guide on how to get ready for your 614 Boudoir Session so that you'll be prepared and know what to expect. That alone will settle most of your nerves!

2. BORROW FROM THE CLIENT CLOSET

Many clients worry over what to wear for their session. While you are welcome to bring outfits and accessories of your own, , you don't have to give this one thought, because I have an amazing Client Closet you can borrow from! The curated selection of bras, panties, bodysuits, robes, sweaters, accessories, and shoes makes it easy to look amazing!

3. LET THE HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTISTS PAMPER YOU!

No need to worry over hair and makeup. Professional Hair and Makeup are included in every 614 Boudoir Photography Session! My stylist will pamper you the moment you step through the studio door so you can relax and let them take care of the rest!

4. LEAVE THE POSING UP TO ME! No one, and I mean NO ONE comes to us knowing how to pose. You'll receive step-by-step posing guidance from your head to your toes and even down to the expressions in your face! If you feel less than confident about certain parts of your body, I'll show you how to emphasize what you love instead. You won't need to worry about a thing!

5. REMIND YOURSELF WHY Think about why you want to do this. Your answer might be to feel beautiful again. Maybe it's to get out of your comfort zone. Maybe it's to celebrate a milestone in your life or simply that it's time for some self-care. Whatever the reason, reminding yourself of your "why" can help calm your nerves and give you the confidence you need!
