Client Interview: Miss A | Boudoir Photography Columbus Ohio
Today’s Client interview brought to you by Miss A. who was recently married and booked her boudoir photo session as a birthday gift for her husband! **PS. She has chosen to keep her images private but has allowed me to share one anonymous shot with all of you blog readers**
What motivated you to book a boudoir session?
I lost some weight for our wedding over a year ago and was losing motivation to stay healthy (there is no motivation like fitting into your wedding dress). I had been toying with the idea of getting these done for my husband and thought what a great motivator to continue a healthy lifestyle and also give a great gift! The photos were both for my self-esteem and a 40th birthday gift for my husband.
What concerns did you have before your photo shoot?
I was most nervous about not having a clue what to do in front of the camera and looking like a deer in the headlights. The instruction given was more than helpful and calmed all my nerves.
What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?
Favorite part of the experience was how comfortable I was. Literally felt like I knew you for years and we were old friends catching up. Between being comfortable, the wonderful hair and makeup, and the bomb photography skills it was an overall wonderful experience.
Where did you shop for your boudoir lingerie?
I shopped at Victoria’s Secret, La Senza, and Cupshe.
After your session, how did you feel?
After the shoot I felt like a million bucks! I think initially I was shocked at my images like “can that even be me!?” This photoshoot was something that was way out of character for me to do. I was worried I wouldn’t like any of the pictures but actually found it difficult to narrow them down.
Now that you’ve had your shoot, what would you go back and tell yourself or what advice would you give future clients?
I would tell myself not to stress out about the outfits. I was so worried about finding items that I saw other girls from the website wearing. Finding things that make you feel like you is most important. If you’re considering doing a shoot just do it. You will NOT be disappointed.
