I always have so much fun during sessions, getting to know my clients, but Miss K was SO fun, I would call her just to chat, or invite her to brunch!! She even came in to the session with a shirt on that said “Perfectly Imperfect”, so right then I knew we would click! Anyhow, she was kind enough to share her thoughts on her Boudoir Photography experience in my Columbus Ohio studio and share a few images. Check them out below!

What motivated you to do a session? For a long time, I felt like I lost myself as a women. I married very young, after having kids I didn't feel beautiful anymore. I wanted to do this to boost my confidence as well give a gift to my husband to show him mama's still got it!

Are these photos for you, or a gift for someone? They are for me and my husband.

Before your session, what were you most nervous about? Being naked and in a vulnerable state.

What was your favorite part of the experience? Going through and selecting all the photos and the conversation with Kristen made me feel like I was chatting with an old friend.

Where did you shop for your outfits? Adore Me and Shein

After the shoot how did you feel? Amazing!

What was your initial reaction to your images? Shocked there were so many good ones it was hard to choose. I felt proud of myself

Did anything change about how you see yourself? I feel more confident and brave.

Now that you've had your session what would you go back and tell yourself to calm your nerves, inspire or empower yourself? I may tell myself to let loose a little more and embrace the poses more.

Any advice for someone who might be considering a shoot? It's not as scary as it seems especially working with someone like Kristin who makes you feel like a powerhouse! Do it, do it, do it!
