Can I just get a few pictures? | Columbus Ohio Boudoir Photography

Every now and then I get a message on Insta or in my inbox and women will say “I don’t need a full shoot, Can’t I just get a few images?”

I'm not going to sugarcoat this one. I do not offer the option to only purchase 'a few images' because this is a full experience, not a quick shoot. It doesn't make sense to have a 4 hour experience, prep and plan for weeks (or months) getting your hair and makeup done, pose for an hour, for you to walk away with only two or three images.

I do offer single-image products like wall art, and products like the folio boxes that hold 10-15 images, but typically clients get an album or collection that comes with 20 or more images.

Why can't you have a shorter experience?? This process takes time. The reason I am able to get amazing images with my clients is because I have taken that time to build the rapport and the relationship necessary to establish trust. You need time in front of the camera to warm up, in fact usually the first few images of the shoot I don't even have you look at the camera. If I rush the process, the images and the final results suffer. I want this experience to be incredible for you, and we want to provide you with the most beautiful portraits of yourself you will ever have.

You’re worried I won't like any of the images? Trust me, I totally get it! This can be scary. I hardly ever like images of myself. Group photos with friends? Ugh. Selfies? Blah. But what is different about this process is that you are working with a professional photographer who understands the principles of lighting, posing, wardrobe, and retouching. I have NEVER had a client come in who didn't love their images. The majority of the time my clients upgrade their package because they fall in love with more images than they thought!

OK you are on a strict budget... I get that a lot, and I have several solutions for my budget-friendly clients. I have a very clear pricing menu available, so you will know down to the dollar exactly what kind of investment to expect when working with 614 Boudoir! Typically I book 4-6 months in advance (sometimes more), and that gives us plenty of time to set up any type of payment plan that works for you. This way you can break the investment into smaller chunks to help make your dream session more attainable!!

These are all great questions and concerns - and I hear them a lot! I'm sure at least one of these things has run through your mind when you've considered booking a shoot. If you have more questions or you'd like to chat more in detail, you are always welcome to reach out!
