Your Privacy Matters
The most important thing when choosing a Boudoir Photographer is your comfort, safety, and privacy. I know there are a lot of Boudoir Photographers in and around Ohio that are incredibly talented, but maybe don’t take all of the measures they should when it comes to you feeling secure.
First and foremost, these images are always for YOU, not me. It is your body, it is your sexuality.
I love to know what vision and inspiration you have for your session. Do you want to feel elegant and sophisticated, beautiful, sweet and sassy, flirty, or erotic? It’s your call. I will pose and coach expressions for you to accomplish whatever vision you have. I can even give guidance on wardrobe and hair and makeup to make that dream shoot a reality for you. Many women feel like just booking the session is a step outside their comfort zone, and some want to use the session as a way to break out of the box. If you’re open to taking things up a notch, let me know. We can explore an outfit you might never choose for yourself but I think it could work great for you. It could mean using your third outfit as the white sheet option, getting in the shower, or doing a set of nudes. Keep in mind, there is a difference between pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and leaving a safe space. I never want you to feel pressured or like you didn’t have complete control over your own modesty.
Secondly, I run an all-women-operated business, and YOU are the most important thing to us. In addition to myself, my stylists, editor, and album designer are all women.
From the moment you walk in until the second you leave, you are my number one priority. I keep the doors locked at all times to ensure maximum privacy. I have a private changing room with curtains for you to close while changing to make sure you feel comfortable changing as well!
When it comes to the shooting, I ALWAYS Ask before touching you. There may be a stray hair, a visible tag, or a twisted strap that I could help with. But I won’t just go ahead and adjust without your consent first.
If you’re trying to decide whether or not to shoot in just the sheets, the shower or even nude- that is completely your choice. And you don’t have to know for sure when the shoot starts. You can always change your mind. Even if you choose to do sheets/nude, I ask how are you most comfortable? Showing nipples or not? Whatever YOU decide is okay with me.
When it comes to sharing your images (or not!), YOU are the one who makes that decision. At the end of your session I will have you fill out a form where you will make the decision on whether or not to share your images. Some people love having their images shared on instagram, here on my blog or in the VIP Group, others don't want any shared at all. Maybe you only want to share anonymous images - totally fine, too! I will go over this with you in detail in person so there is no confusion. I would never share an image you weren’t comfortable with sharing, and there is absolutely no pressure on my end for you to share any of your images at all! Of course I would love to show off your images to the world, but only with your permission. Even if you choose to sign an image release, I share them to empower other women. Do I love sharing images of my clients and their sessions? Of course! But, that’s not the reason for you booking a session. The images we create during your session are meant to empower you, make you feel beautiful, sexy, and desired. They are a keepsake for you to look back on. And if you intend for them to only ever be seen by you or your partner, that’s how it will be. I take your image privacy very seriously.
At the end of the day, your comfort and your privacy are my number one priority, along with feeling 100% empowered during the process.
