Is Boudoir for one "Type" of Person?

I recently received an inquiry about booking a boudoir session, but in the message box, she typed she was “not really the type to do boudoir.”

The type?

Sure, some of my clients choose to feel feminine, soft and beautiful, but some choose to feel powerful, strong, and sensual. A boudoir session is a place where ALL women have the ability to define and showcase their own sexuality. So whether you love lace, leather or oversized sweaters, this experience is right for you. There are so many reasons you don’t need to be a certain “type” of person to experience the magic of boudoir, and here are my top three. 

A boudoir session is an opportunity to celebrate you as you are.

The boudoir experience is not about looking magazine perfect—it’s about capturing your beauty and power as it is right at this very moment in time. And it doesn’t end when you walk out the studio doors. It changes who you are and how you celebrate your beauty, your sexuality, and your confidence. I never expect you to be anything that you are not.

This session is a chance to step outside of your box, but not so far that you feel uncomfortable. Some of my clients choose to stay more modest and celebrate their flirty, coy side. Some clients choose to be photographed nude and implying sexual acts. Both are equally as amazing and deserving of a confidence-boosting experience. 

Maybe your session doesn’t look like everyone else’s, and it shouldn’t! During your session, this is all about YOU. And you will quickly forget anyone else who has come before or will come after you.
