Miss M Session Recap | Boudoir Photos Columbus Ohio

Miss M was an amazing client! First of all she came to me by way of referral, which I love. There is no better honor than someone loving their experience with me enough to share with others and them choosing to do a session for themselves. Secondly, we bonded over true crime! Her photos are absolutely stunning as well- you can see them below, but first, see what she had to say about her experience with 614 Boudoir Photography.

What motivated you to do a session?

I have been wanting to do a boudoir session for a while now.  I recently changed jobs, got a new house, and left a relationship.  I wanted to celebrate me for going through struggles and coming out the otherside beautiful in both body and spirit.

Are these photos for you, or a gift for someone?

Mostly for me, but maybe a paramour or two *wink*

Before your session, what were you most nervous about?

I am not a good model!  I was really worried I would look awkward or like I was posing but going through the different poses with Kristin really helped.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

Hair & makeup was so fun.  Chatting with the ladies about not just the photoshoot but podcasts we were listening to and gossiping about the men in our lives really made me feel comfortable and like I could speak my mind at any point.

Where did you shop for your outfits?

I love Nordstroms for classic looks with a twist but Kristin had some great lingerie sets she set up for me and I actually ended up purchasing the set I wore in the shoot!

After the shoot how did you feel?

Tired but excited.  I can't wait to see how the final pictures come out.

What was your initial reaction to your images?

Surprise.  I had three different outfit changes, one where I was wearing a fully covered dress, and my favorite pictures were the ones where I was only wearing a sheet.

Did anything change about how you see yourself?

I definitely felt comfortable and strong.  Everytime I look at these photos I know I can do anything.

Now that you've had your session what would you go back and tell yourself to calm your nerves, inspire or empower yourself?

I would go back and tell myself not to worry so much about the outfits and really focus on emoting in the photos.  The pictures where I really felt something - beautiful, powerful, strong, sexy - definitely came out the best.

Any advice for someone who might be considering a shoot?

Do it!  Do it, do it, do it!  You will have no regrets.
