What motivated you to do a session?

My best friend Alex had done two sessions prior and told me it was an amazing experience! Her experience motivated me to do it for myself.

Are these photos for you, or a gift for someone?

The experience was for me but the photos I gave to my boyfriend.

Before your session, what were you most nervous about?

Feeling confident while taking the photos. I was nervous with how my imperfections (belly) would look on camera.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

Feeling my nervousness fall away as we moved on to each different pose.

Where did you shop for your outfits?

After the shoot how did you feel?

I felt incredibly confident in myself and sexy.

What was your initial reaction to your images?

I didn’t believe it was me! I rarely wear makeup or have my hair done, so that alone was a transformation.

Did anything change about how you see yourself?

It made me more confident and reminded me that I can be feminine.

Now that you've had your session what would you go back and tell yourself to calm your nerves, inspire or empower yourself?

I would tell myself to stop worrying about my weight and to just enjoy the experience.

Any advice for someone who might be considering a shoot?

Absolutely do it, for yourself! It’s nice to want to get photos done for your significant other as a gift. But honestly the experience and confidence you gain for yourself is the real gift.
